How to subtly add pink to your home

Pink is still going strong! Well it’s been going strong for a while now ever since we were introduced to the luscious Rose Quartz Pantone colour of the year in 2016. Let’s be real though it can be a hard colour to work with. On top of that we may have a roomies that might reach for the trash bag when they see pink items starting to appear.

Here are our tops tips on bringing pink into your home…subtly.

Flowers
Pink flowers are an easy way to add pink to your home in pops. They can be made more subtle by adding different coloured flowers to the mix.

Sneaky small pieces
Pink books, vase, ornaments, candle holders and so on. Just sprinkle them around the home.

Soft furnishings
Use cushions and throws. They are great pieces that can also be moved around to different rooms in the home.

Wall art
Wall art is a great way to add pink into your home. If it’s in art, it doesn’t count if it’s pink right?

Go light
If you want to paint a statement wall or have a larger piece of furniture in pink use a lighters shade to make it more subtle.
