It's time to organise your pantry!
If your pantry is bursting at the seams, food fall outs when you open the door or you simply can’t find a thing, then it’s definitely time to organise your pantry! There are many benefits of having an organised pantry besides making things a lot easier for you! From a health perspective, having stale food in your home is not okay, plus it can save you a ton of money by not being wasteful and letting good food expire. So, if you’re ready for a weekend project, then here are our four simple steps to organise your pantry.
Pull it all out and wipe down your shelf’s pantry. We’re sure you’ll find a few leaks and spills.
Remove all expired food! If you haven’t cleaned out your pantry in a while, you may be surprised by how much is passed its use-by date.
Put your food and condiments into groups or categories. Get it all organised into groups so you can see what you have and how much. This will make sure you allow enough space for each food group when you’re putting them back in.
Put it all back. Make the use of containers to stack items or keep certain food together. It’s also important not to pile food or cans on top of each other. Try lining them up so you can simply open your pantry and see everything at once.
Labels will help make sure everything will stay organised, especially if you live in a large household.
