We all know that plants are good for reduce stress, boost your mood, and help assist in relieving anxiety. That’s why you will always see plants in an office (highly stressfully placed right!). Whether it be the sight or smell, these are our three favourite plants that are perfect for relieving stress in your home.
Peppermint is a very popular aroma in essential oils, candles, bath oils, and to drink in a hot tea. I personally love the smell of this plant, so it’s great to have it around the house. The menthol in peppermint relaxes your body and increases alertness. So, if you have a stressful day ahead or feeling a bit overwhelmed, it might be worth grabbing some leaves and making a hot tea.
Lavender is beautiful to look at, and there are many varieties for you to choose from. It has one of the most popular smells that you would most likely recognise in relaxing and sleep-aid products.
Aloe Vera is a super plant, in our opinion. It helps remove harmful chemicals around the home, so easy to grow, and its leaves have amazing healing properties.
